ALKP represents the interests of lectors and career advisors and through its activities contributes to the increase of their professional and social status. ALKP holds regular workshops, trainings and conferences, aiming at providing up-to-date information on the new trends in life-long education. Besides a high number of trainings, ALKP provides also accredited courses „Lector,“ and Career advisory“. Additionally, ALKP conducts evaluation of competence in partial qualifications „Lector“ and performs certification of lecturers in line with the Act no. 568/2009 on Lifelong Learning.
